Introduction: This Patek Philippe 2525J-1 Calatrava watch features a 36 mm step case in 18K yellow gold. The dial is an original Egg Shell Opaline White dial with applied dagger numerals, subsidiary second hand, gold Dauphine hands. It has a 10"200 caliber movement, #745989, and case number #694944. The watch has a screw down water resistant case back. The back is engraved with the providence dated 1961.

Essay: 2525-1: Was launched in 1953 through to 1962, screw down water resistant back. The first series were fitted with the 10”200 caliber, later models were fitted with the 12”-400 slightly larger movement and thicker with domed backs. The dials made of metal and silvered by Stern Freres. The cases were made by Wegner on both cases.
Condition: This watch is in fantastic original condition sharp edges to case and lugs, strong hallmarks, and impressive details to dial and overall condition. It is fitted with an brown alligator strap and an vintage Patek gold buckle. The watch further comes with a 1 year warranty.
